What if we stand among those who decided to leave "Home", telling our experiences and how we were going forward? On the one hand, and we feel it is the one that happened to us, and we're also "normalizing" (my friends tell me that I had become rare, closed, and out of the world) I think?
Whoever starts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not like you get with each guest nick and make a funny comment about whether this or that person is touched or not.
Saying that's very easy and very cowardly.
Is there a moderator on this board? It would request the moderator to remove the little messages that are intended only twitch or insult. Although only be for the interest of the forum.

Marcelo take this opportunity to greet and wish you much happiness.

Hello, ex-agd, we have forgotten to answer your requests for help. As you wish, I will provide some thought that maybe mine can be used as advice. I stayed in the opus many aa. (19 almost) and I left very tired (puts "h"?) Because obviously I had come full circle from this experience. To you I have "effectively closed" rather than within yourself to reach a mature decision that this was your way or not.
Now it is normal that you are "suspended" between your future (which you can guess and be very good) and your past (which you realize that you have done injustice-eg. Lure you, love you between them, instill your lifestyle and ultimately walk away without further ...-). Your personal experience and opinions more balanced and educated than you find in this forum can help you reach the certainty (and serenity that can provide this certainty) that now (if ever) this is not your way. Stay calm: God knows best (as they say, precisely).
You are still young and have a life ahead, a life in which, incidentally, has any role to play (probably be an excellent wife and mother, and friend and professional: you say little?).
Stop looking back and start looking forward, to make plans, to cultivate a hobby that helps you redearte of friends as good and sincere, without ulterior purpose. I also advise you to make you a PROFESSIONAL help, with a brief psychotherapy, but I also know that many will go wrong this advice, and we ex even more, because in this contempt action opus, but often have no choice but to tentative in the extreme use of "saving" any vocation. It seems to me that as the body helps you make good use of doctors for some adjustment, the psyche also need some help, especially in the major life changes. And, as I said elsewhere on this forum, also has over time, which helps burn many wounds.
Best of luck and get ready to be happy. Un abrazo

I wish he would answer someone who has gone through what I, after getting convinced that he had "vocation" want to convince you that you have not already and you left out without any explanation. How do you find your place? Even after that I have a pretty normal life and smooth operation of my profession as a bump there that does not close despite the time. What can I do?

Lilo, I felt the same, and neither gave me any explanation.
Now I see that the "vocation" was invented them. I remember in my heart the director was obsessed with making the ball to the delegation (an egg you could tell he wanted to "rush") and a way of doing this was that in "his" beep many people downtown for the head give him a pat on the back.
Well, that, that the "vocation" is not true, is an invention, and I manipulated to increase the number of people who booed.
I was so fanatical that the fact I was told that "he had no vocation" I feel terrible, but now I see that is the greatest favor they did to me in life.
And I am convinced that those who say "no longer have a vocation" is at people who, even fanatical, they have a glimmer of common sense however minimal and, therefore, are or may become uncomfortable because Opus could not be manipulated and reversed at all.
Give thanks to you bud "recommended" not to continue, and to give them all up the ass. And stay so wide.

I appropriate and I endorse everything that has been written because Cabernet is fair, just, what happened to me and what I think now it has been many years. But I assure you that Lilo is not easy to settle for the idea that you say no vocation after you had been convinced that if they had. As well do not tell you the cause because you no longer appeals to God, your head becomes a maze of paths that you get lost searching and searching for the cause of this failure "sentimental?"
In my case I wondered whether he had an incurable disease, (and we know that patients do not fit in the Work) or incipient insanity o. .., they might have misinterpreted a friendship with another girl I did and believe it was a homosexual. But as I said the cause could not defend myself from the misconceptions that could have been made of me.
I assure you that there was no apparent reasons for such a "no vocation" served as the first with all standards. If at that time I was dead, and there really is a heaven, had come to share, (maybe now) without any doubt a paradise for the righteous.
I'm late, another day you'll talk about how difficult it is me again join the world of "live".

hola!

This is a message to ex-agd.

I had read this forum, at least in its entirety, so doing so now I have seen that the day 19.10.2002 thought I was the guest you wrote. well, I just wanted to say that I was not.

Hello: I read the comments. First participated in this forum. I'm not the opus dei, but I'm not against it, is most attracts me, I know a lot, I have family and I attended the media training, I `m happy.
The truth is that you do not believe much participants say, I am not manipulate @, or that I have "eaten the coconut," I seem to normal people, I feel comfortable and I feel that restrict my freedom.
I would encourage those who want to go out if they so wish, not going to happen, life goes on, it's easy if you are balanced people, if they have some psychological problems, it is obvious that inside or outside the opus will suffer in some way. I understand that in the patients if they fit opus, I have an aunt who suffers a terrible disease and belongs to the opus, is numerary and see that they want and serve very well.
See you soon. Nic.

Hi Nic, I am glad that your experience is positive. Of course not wish any harm to anyone, quite the contrary. It is clear that although we can all have a common denominator in what lived within Opus, everyone and every situation is different and why there are differing views. From the very critical of Opus even those who only see positive things in the works, like you. Remember that all we have left the work one day and of course we thought like you. I do not want to convince you of anything. For me the best thing you can count on this forum is simply our experience honestly and without exaggeration. Then everyone can compare their own vision with that of others in matters in which ... truth be told ... when we were in, not that we had crossed his mind the comments with other members. But when you leave the organization have the freedom to question anything or listen to people of different opinion and I think this is good.
Why do not you give me your opinion on what is said here of coercion to young people. That is for me the worst in the Work. The best of the play is that there are good people inside, people who have sacrificed so much. I talked about the coercion of young people in the item entitled: is this respect for freedom? Thanks

Nick
I'll tell you if one of my
best friends. It was added 7; you and became ill. He needed an operation and
was first warned him not help her financially (unlike what was promised in the early days)
A few months and operated, diplomatically suggested he should request a waiver.
I know a lot and has no psychological problems.
The patients are a treasure! But not in all cases.

nic, that's good to know that somebody still speaks well of the opus. That if, to speak properly you must have lived inside the opus rules namely:
- Daily use sackcloth on your buttocks tight so that the spikes are marked on your legs.
- Use weekly disciplines Givin well Furter in your tail and possibly a long time.
- Not to speak of things "such sinful" such as AIDS (you'll know what it is and who they infect?)
- Leela not recommend the books to the university because they go against the "doctrine" of the opus.
- Tables do not sleep on mattresses on.
- You take a shower with cold water everyday.
- Take antidepressants if "think" you should go opus.
etc, etc, etc ...
nic, nic, if you're not the opus and defend all these atrocities, I think you're a very dangerous.
passing on your story so watered down "Carini" caring for your aunt, you wonder: Is now the opus is mixed? Your assertion could only have overtones of truth if they live with your aunt. But nic, nic, who intend to impress with your story? my no. I witnessed many numeraries who returned home from their parents because their illness was an embarrassment to the "work" at the center.
nic, properly speaking. Thank you.

hello guest. I imagine you're a woman and you were numerary.
I do not understand like a hair shirt in your buttocks tight may leave marks on your legs as much as you squeeze.
And then, that give you with the disciplines on your tail, it sounds very strange here in Spain. Perhaps tail also means more colloquially buttocks or ass.
It was simple curiosity. I'm sure you got it wrong. Thanks

iggy, sweetness, if you are a user of sackcloth and you have not left marks, for I tell you by remembering my address on the opus "entrgada you're very little and you have bad spirit". Regarding the sackcloth: numeraries and Fellows are given in the ass. And do not forget sweetness that Escriva fancied himself with razor blades and and nails so well her ass was bleeding.
That's what I always said in the opus when you explain that you must use the disciplines and dartela the ass. Then you think, thank goodness I only give this bunch of braided cords without blemishes or razor blades.
Ass, if I said ass .... You still have questions?

Let's see where do I start a guest ... Firstly I'm male, what of "sweetness" can happen, but the "user" Maybe not.

I do not know how you use your hair shirt or disciplines, perhaps you were very creative and I would wave sadomasochistic, but I was asuguro than normal hair shirt tied in the leg in the calf area. I do not know if using the word "calf" in South America. For people to understand it, I mean the wider area of the leg, but not too up because then it would be virtually impossible to walk. When sitting, you poke the hair shirt at the calf to get the weight of the body but not in the buttocks.
If you tied your hair shirt in the normal way and then went ta brands in the ass, then maybe we have a case of paranormal occurrences, stigma, or perhaps you stung a few bugs.
Then you say numeraries / you were given the sackcloth in the ass. It's such nonsense, which I assume you meant disciplines, not sackcloth.
As to the "tail" is now clarified. I did not know that in Colombia and perhaps elsewhere in South America used to say back, ass, etc..
And finally, I did not give me a hair shirt and some disciplines. They told me where there was a convent where I had to go buy.
