Would we feel comfortable in a place where everyone had the same opinion?. Would this be a symptom of lack of free speech?
I therefore think it desirable in this forum have different opinions. And let there be participation by all sorts of people. Both of persons not familiar with the o.d. as members and former members who do know what they are talking.
This leads me directly to ask if there really are members od visit the forum.
I'm sure of it because here you can read criticism of the founder, and so on. and I remember when I was cash, "it was better not to see certain programs, read books or newspapers, etc.. Therefore, let this discussion: that-if any-who are members of the work, provide a record of your visit. Will be good news for the forum. At least I think so. Thanks

Iggy Greetings to you and all of the forum. Apologize in advance if there is a term that is not understood and will write in "Spanish" in Mexico.
For the sake of the canonization of Escriva was looking for information about Opus Dei and I came across this forum. I must say that in general is a forum in height, with great respect and valid argument. I do not belong to the opus, I am Catholic and my relationship has been more with congregations as La Salle, Marist and Salesians. Here in Mexico, the opus is certainly related to circles of economic and social power, actually has the myth that only the blond (blond) can be chosen from the work and low social class who are on site, inviting them to sanctify in his household of wealthy families without change or find another job better. All this is part of a superficial view that we have here in this region north of the country. What I read seems interesting and I think after some considerations. I really believe that if I can not evangelize the "rich" that good to have someone else do it, I really have taught me is to love God without the fear of hell and besides if he were a football game you would go to the Jesuits or the progressive conservatives (in this case the opus and the Legionaries of Christ You know them?). Well we kept in touch.

| Hi Iggy, I like that you have that open mind that leads you to want to contrasting opinions. When you were cash you had to ask permission to read certain books, it is true, but do not you think that there would be "others" who had read it before to see if it was consistent or not with the "spirit"?. People with better training on this particular point. So not worth the argument to believe that none of the work is recorded and visit the forum, you can do even with the permission of the director, if it is a well-educated person whose ideas are not going to be affected by what you read. Hello again,
The truth is that every day that passes I am more convinced that here is not no member of the work. It would appear otherwise.
Certainly there are some in this forum willing to discuss whatever is required for or against, and others with a sense of guilt after leaving work. But anyway, I feel bad fall in schoolyard discussions in this forum, since then the forum becomes unbearable and eventually will devoid of interest.
I do not think that this site is right for revenge, awarded, in a tone insulting, or to make general judgments lightly.
